We view PEPI thermal control as a starting point, not the only way you have them available to you. Our engineers survey your application and production needs. Then we refer to our library of over 40,000 applications and recommend a customized solution that will better meet your needs.

Almost every PEPI® thermal control is customized in some way. Here are the most common.

1. Change operation temperature and calibration

Set the make/break temperature precisely where it’s needed for your application.

2. Change bimetallic elements

Every PEPI® thermal control is designed with the versatility to use different bimetallic elements to more closely match the sensitivity needs of any application.

3. Factory-attached leads and customized mounting brackets

Many PEPI® customers are looking for ways to simplify their own manufacturing. By attaching leads at our factory, we can eliminate a step that adds time and money to your own process.  Custom designed mounting options perform the same function.

4. Electrical isolation

Using sleeves, bubble packs and other methods, we can remove the thermal control from any electrical disturbance beyond the circuit.

5. Harnesses

Many applications require multiple thermal controls wired together into a harness configuration.  We can simplify your manufacturing by delivering pre-wired harnesses.

Certain aspects should be taken into consideration when applying both creep and snap action devices.  Careful attention must be paid to input voltage, load currents, and the characteristics of the load. Final design criteria should be based upon results of the testing of our devices in your application at your facility.
